What a terrible burden. Life must be super rough.

OK, my 8 years of real estate experience, and 200 hours of continuing education begs to differ. You legally do NOT have a right to enter a property (without notice) unless you feel there is an emergency and/or sanitary/structural concerns. Texas Real Estate Commission promulgates contracts which clearly state this... I’ve signed 100’s of them over my career.
Don’t be a sour puss you’re stuck being a life long renter.

"you gave me a fright" is not the same as "you gave me a house" but nice try at giving us a vocabulary lesson.
and lastly, you didnt provide anyone with a home to live in. you are in it for the money, not humility.

My point in referencing an emotion is that just because you ‘give’ someone something doesn’t mean you physically have to give them a tangible item to keep forever to ‘give’ someone something. —and yes, that’s one of the definitions of give.
So, let’s go back to the definition again...
2) Gave: Verb; cause or allow...; provide or supply with.
I (the Landlord) provided or supplied a home for someone. a.k.a. I gave (reference above) a home to my tenant in return for her to maintain and take care of the property. I held up my end she didn’t hold up her end. When a tenant signs a legally binding lease agreement they are taking possession of that property. It is now their home with legal protections for the tenant -even though they don’t own the property. While I still own it on paper, it is their home to use as they see fit as long as they don’t violate the lease agreement. I cannot just walk in whenever I want because it is her home while she has contractually accepted to take possession from me.
It’s not that hard to understand.
This is some of the most lol desperate attempt to win an argument I’ve seen in a while.
It’s sad you can clearly tell the people in this thread who rent -and are upset they are renters- and those who actually did something with their lives. Oh well.
I know I’m not a shitty landlord, slumlord, etc. And you’re right, at the end of the day I have several rental properties which will help supplement my very nice early retirement.

its sad that you think being a tenant means being unsuccessful and buying a house to profit off the lives of other people means you "did something with your life".
that makes you sound like a scumbag. but i guess we will never know what its like to have our heads up our own ass the way you do. i guess everyone looks small when youre way up there in your ivory tower.

This thread has been closed.
Reason: Topic is devolving into personal argument. Would rather end this before it gets any uglier.
