First time grower needs help

Ok. Second time grower. Back about 25 years ago, I grew with spores and instructions from a place in the PNW called Psilocybe Fanaticus. Followed the instructions and had success. This time, I purchased a kit online from a place called Buy-magic-mushroom-kits.com I received the kit the beginning of the month. After about 10 days, they started pinning. Then they started growing. I failed to open the top of the grow bag as soon as I should have. They don't seem to be growing. Someone mentioned they weren't getting enough air or light. I tried re positioning the heating pad. So I'm stuck as to what I should do next. I have the grow bag in a small fish tank with a cover. The bag is totally open. It's 80degrees F. Should I harvest what has grown and then cold shock it and start over? Are they going to grow more? Should I recluse the bag? I tried writing to the site and they are very bad at responding. Thoughts?

This site won't let me upload that type of file. How does one upload a picture?

there might not be any use of a heating pad
to my understanding the recommended temperature should be in the mid 70s for fruiting
use a 12/12 hour light schedule either with indirect sunlight, 5000-6500k led or a 5000-6500 flourescent lamp.

Baked and suffocated. Can't see the pictures very clearly but I'm just gonna take a wild guess and say there's probably some bacteria in there too. Get rid of the heating pad. Get the bag outta the fish tank. Just set it on a shelf or something with indirect sunlight and passive air circulation. Temps at 70-75f is perfect. Harvest any aborts, adults, or just anything that isn't growing. Don't let the surface stay dry. Mist as needed to keep fine droplets of water on the surface continuously evaporating. Shouldn't need to dunk it yet. I imagine there should still be plenty of moisture left in that thing.
I never used a setup like that, but I figure i'd probably take that outta the bag and place the bag(or maybe a smaller one) loosely over the top, the way some people topfruit jars- if that makes any sense. Good luck

Dont use a heating pad. Its too hot for shrooms. Use ambient heating, no direct heating!
Also it looks very dry in that bag. I would recommend misting more often until the substrate is moist.

[image]http:/[url=http://files.shroomery.org/files/20-21/010732990-20200521_201800.jpg][/image] Thanks. Here's an update. I woke up this morning and the two biggest, strongest specimens were fallen over. Will take prescribed actions.

Based on the pictures in your gallery you have cooked your mushrooms To much heat and not enough FAE.

I was just at my local home improvement store and the highest I could find was 3000. Could I use two of those to get 6000? Does it work like that? Thanks for everyone's suggestions.

Update: So I harvested my meager efforts. Dunked the cake in water for 12 hours. Started over. Got rid of excess water. Took that water and found a suitable place in my yard where it might have a chance at growing. Sprinkled some rice flour over where I poured the spore water. I'll let y'all know what happens.
