First time grower: Do these shrooms look okay?

This is my first time growing.
This cake has been in the fruiting chamber for 11 days so far.
Are these pins okay? Does anything look off to you?

Welcome to Tea Lady. Those pins are looking good
The cake does look a little dry though. Evinced by the yellow/blueish bruising areas. What kind of chamber setup are you using?

Phew - that is good to hear.
Honestly it’s kind of a mix of shoebox tek and SGFC. I’m not very experienced and messed it up a bit.
However I do must 3 times daily and there is always condensation on the lid and sides. It might be getting too much direct sunlight...

Yeah it can be tricky when you first start out. They could be just fine. From what I remember cakes often start having that yellowing and blue bruising towards the end of their run regardless of how well they’re tended. Since it was first flush it seems like something may be off but if mushrooms are growing just keep on rollin.

Hi!
I'm very new to this, but the pins look good and as Roger Clemency said, the cake looks a bit bruised.
I've read elsewhere that it's usually better to trim the tin foil to the size of the cake.
Good luck!

Totally. Was considering making the foil portion smaller as well. Thank you!!!
