just have to get this out of my system. the us is such a garbage place now. people are so selfish here they don't care if other people are getting sick. the population is so poisoned with misinformation, people are living in total fantasy worlds now, and these people are the ones electing our leaders. the country is falling apart yet people think the current adminstration has made the country stronger than ever before. we're so fucked. this is a sinking ship. this is not the country i grew up in. i dont want to be apart of it. its time to go.

You're part of the problem though. You want everyone to give in to the fear porn the media constantly tries to throw at us. Misinformation? Yeah, that's coming from the people who tell you "stay inside until we tell you you're safe and snitch on your neighbors or we're all fucked!" when there is plenty of proof to show this virus is not nearly as devastating as we're being led to believe. People being counted as separate cases when they test positive multiple times, hospitals not being used when they were built because of this while nurses get fired, documentation showing people who died with covid are to be listed as covid deaths even if the symptoms were miniscule, the fact that some of the same people who want us all to stay inside think we should still be letting in people including illegal, police not wearing gloves or masks anywhere while they arrest people for even having neighbors on their property etc etc.
This whole thing reminds me a lot of the leftists that have said "I want there to be a recession just to get Trump out of office." Idk how it works in other countries, but with the situation here it seems pretty obvious the Dems with their Chinese kick back money want him out, as does China.
But feel free to weaken your immune system by staying trapped indoors stressing about a virus you'll more than likely have mild symptoms from if you even do catch it lol.

staying inside might hinder my ability to fight off colds or bacteria, but this strain of coronavirus is new and the immune system will not know how to respond to it regardless of what i do. therefore i must completely remove myself from contaminated areas, that is the only viable defense. this and other strains of coronaviruses can cause permanent damage to the organs. and i would feel terrible if i were to infect other people. how would you feel if you learned you had infected other people, causing possible organ damage and even death? would you even care? i suspect not. you seem more concerned with putting down leftists and "dems" than the quality of life in this country. this way of thinking is what will destroy this country. our inability to focus on what matters will end up hurting a lot of people. in your fantasy world, you are right, i am part of the problem. but if it makes you feel better, i wont remain a problem for very long. hopefully in a couple of years i can get the hell out of here. you and the millions of other who share your way of thinking can have it

Well I'm planning on moving as well, but likely for different reasons and maybe some of the same. But if you haven't noticed, the quality of life here is already taking a hit, much more than you would like to believe comes from people being told they can't go out for recreation or work, and the other issues that come from that.
This situation is like the Epstein case, even the kind of people who are quickest to make fun of conspiracy theorists are realizing this shit is being milked hard. My aunt, a nurse, was the first person to tell me they're testing the same people multiple times after periods of days and counting every positive as separate cases. Confirmed by my uncle, a doctor, and elsewhere.
Someone in my house already had it and barely felt it, I might have already had it but I felt nothing. But now my small business I was working on went to shit because I can't even sell to people who are okay with taking the risk of catching it. So yeah, of course I wouldn't WANT to infect anyone. But I'm much less concerned with possibly infecting someone who is ok with risking being infected and will very likely be just fine.
Did you even ready any of my other points in the last comment though? Some of these hospitals aren't taking the shit seriously either though. Plus you have instances like CBS getting hospital staff to line up and pretend to be patients getting tested for the cameras.

You know that feeling when a great sporting team has reached its zenith and the inevitable changing of the guard is afoot.
Their speed and agilty has gone and the only thing keeping them in it is their experience and that last bit of fear and intimidation they have over their opponents.
The wins get tighter, maybe a loss to a mid tier team, in fighting amongst management and players... all signs.
You can only win so many championships till the others either give up and leave nothing to be won or they all gang up and change the rules.
I love watching those historical sporting dynasty shows they are far more important than world history imo.

there's other reasons i want to get out of here apart from recent events. the recent events have made this country's flaw so, so apparent though. used to be i could accept those flaws for the good, but i'm right at the edge where i can't bear it anymore. it's fucking shitty here, man. the politicians do NOTHING to make this country better and the voting masses show absolutely no interest in making it better either. i guess its always been the case, but its so blatant now.
