Its been about month since a started the journey and this is my first time attempting to cultivate any sort of mushroom, so I did what various sources suggested but there seemed to be a problem in my case along the way.
I bought a 1 lb bag of spawn and a 1 lb bag substrate from a fairly popular and trusted company called Fresh Cultivators, once it arrived I followed the instructions they had posted on a YouTube video. This is the video link if you would like to see what Ive done.
For the first 2 weeks everything seemed to be going accordingly but nothing really changed within the bag. Once it got to the point where I had to mix the colonized spawn with the substrate 2 weeks had passed and there weren't really any signs of colonization. I ignored this and mixed everything like I was shown in the video.
2 more weeks passed and it was time to place the "block" into the tub. It wasn't really a block like it was suppose to be, but I went along with it anyway. There weren't any visible pins and now the mixed ingredients are in the tub. Its been 4 days and I've been watering it, exchanging the air and giving it sufficient sunlight, still no change. At this point I feel helpless, I've done research, nothing, I've emailed the company, nothing. This is my last resort until I just buy another kit and hope for the best again.
I really want to see if this could be saved or at least leave this first attempt with some knowledge for the next time this happens to anyone.
Anything that could help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for reading my friends, much love.

It's really hard to tell what's happening at this point with all the steps you've gone through. My suggestion is to not use kits. Search on here and follow the PF Tek, get a pressure cooker, make a SAB, make and use a shotgun fruiting chamber once cakes are ready.
If you would rather get into bulk tubs and skip doing cakes then you'll need to learn agar, oats, tub setups
And try getting your spores from a trusted vendor here

Kits are hit or miss, follow one of the teks on here for a much higher rate of success. Here's the first one I used:
Bod's Easy AF cheapest way to get started TEK
People will also be better able to help you if you host that picture directly on the shroomery forum rather than uploading a pdf with your picture in it. People dont want to go through downloading another file.
Here's a tutorial on how to do that

It sounds like you did what I did my first time. You tried to use an MS syringe with your bag. I didn't get anything to happen when I did this. If you have no colonization in the bag and you mix it up nothing will happen. I left mine on a shelf for 3 months and they just rotted. Didn't even contaminate which I was surprised about. Keep reading there is lots of great information here.

If they rotted, there was definitely a contam. Grains will just look and smell like grains even after months if there wasn't a contam.
What you may call rotting is a bacteria usually.
