Anyone else a big fan of the Friday the 13th slasher film series?

I've loved them forever, and only just finally got the cheaper DVD box set from Amazon.

What are your favorite entries?

That's rad, lmao.

The first 4 are timeless slasher films IMHO. Not many people realize parts 2, 3, and 4 all take place over a single weekend. Part 2 is five years after the first movie, as well. When put in this context it's all so much more real and terrifying. Everything from Part 5 on has been a joke, despite the improved makeup FX and gore (most of which, the MPPA slaughtered via editing).
