Could sb please help assessing health of the mushies?

Hello,
Please note it might be perfectly normal and I am asking a noobie question. I ask for understanding. I am still making my first steps.
Today I started my third harvest by cutting a few ready to go fellas. What disturbed me is that the ones I picked, are green/black inside of their legs. I tried to search however I did not find any information on that matter. Could you please tell me if they are safe to be eaten or the whole project should be aborted? The strain is McKenaii.

Many thanks in advance.
Kind regards, wounky

They look fine unless its soft and mushy. Was the substrate clean or contaminated?

The substrate seems clean and it was not 'mushy/moldy', they should be good then, thank you for checking.
I really appreciate it!
Below I will paste picture during initial drying and of the substrate.

Hello,
Indeed as you advised it was just a bruising. The reason for that was that the mushies were growing from the sides.
It was hard to pull them out from the box and dunk once again for the fourth flush. Yet I intended to try. Even after damaging the cake. As I wanted to prevent them being completely squizzed once again, I put the cake in a different position.
At my suprise it worked and muschroom started to grow. But the grow to the sides and the room is limited
Could you please advise on what could I do to make the most out of this fourth and what seems to be final flush?
Please find some photos below. I decided to go for a growkit cause I am not in my home country etc.

Many thanks for your help.
Cheers, wink

It looks dry but I can never tell with the kits with verm layers.
Four flushes is really good, how much total dry weight from the first three?
