Emotions In Dreams

You know how you can have a nightmare or a very stimulating dream, and it feel so real, that when you wake up, you can still feel whatever feeling you had in the dream upon waking. Anger, fear, anxiousness, arousal... And after waking "ah, it was only a dream!"
Well here recently, I've had a two dreams where I felt I was crying. My dreams have always been very vague, both in context and visually, but this has never happened to me before. The one that resonates with me the most was fairly simple. I was just looking at the sky, thats all. Nothing was happening, I didn't have anything going on. Just an image of the sky in my mind, And I dreamt I was bawling. It was so profound, that when I woke, I felt like the tears would come squeezing out of my eyes any second. No reason at all, just pure emotion.
Figured I'd come ask here if anyone has had similar experiences in a dream with such strong emotional connections. Really odd stuff

Yes.
Exactly like that, and with the sky too.
It’s so beautiful I feel blessed to be able to to behold it. Tears & rapturous joy.
Other times it may have to do with something humorous, hilarious. Laughter & whatnot.
And other still, Terrifying or hideous. Muffled screams and dread.
All in all, incredibly fascinating & elucidative experiential phenomena.

I remember I had two separate nightmares/dreams once, and for some reason each of the two dream/nightmares I had had the exact same 'personality' as if the dream itself was a specific individual or 'person' -- I remember it being very violent and after I woke up I couldn't go back to sleep and reality/waking state had remnants of the nightmare/dream or just an overall creepy vibe.
So I ended up watching Kung Fu with this creepy vibe or feeling 'being watched' by the violent dream personality.
It was as if the dream itself were a 'person' -- The two different nightmares, One involved camping in a cave with a group of people, the other one was in a haunted hotel or house. Two very different dream's and scenarios in the dreams, yet the two different dreams had the exact same personality. As if the dream itself were a particular person.
It was very odd to say the least. And somewhat disturbing.
