panaeolus cyanescens mycelium---concentric rings on agar?

I don't have a photo, but I just noticed my pan cyan mycellium has a strange look to it. I'm growing it on potato water/yeast/honey agar. This is probablyl the 4th or 5th transfer, so It's probably not a true isolate, but it is certainly a limited set of genetics.
Anyway, I used 2 agar dishes to inoculate 8 new agar dishes, and all 8 of them show the same thing. The pan cyan mycellium is growing out in a nice circle, but has a strange concentric ring structure. Very thin mycellium in between narrow bands of much heavier mycellium.
None of them show signs of contamination. No strange color, or that wierd greasy looking stuff from bacteria. It's nice and beautiful white, no weird smells.... I think it's pure mycellium. I prepare extra agar dishes, and let them sit unopened to ensure the sterilization worked properly. Everything looks good to me. Any thoughts?

I had one plate that REALLY exhibited this, but the mycelium was crawling at a snails pace so I tossed it and never took a pic. (I think I did actually but can’t find it) You don’t have a camera?
This is Pan cyan
 Slightly noticeable rings.
I read a thread where someone said they determined rings are caused by light cycle, but all my plates stay in total darkness 24/7 because i store them in my closet and Ive still gotten rings.

My experience is not with pans, but the concentric circles seem to be a function of temperature variations. I can confirm that this is a cause, if not the only possible cause.

Like this one on the right?

The plate on the right was the type of growth I used before that performed awesomely.

It is similar to that. I found the quote from Staments--https://books.google.com/books?id=M9Mz99pAdXMC&pg=PA102&lpg=PA102&dq=panaeolus+cyanescens+mycelium---concentric+rings+on+agar?&source=bl&ots=WQh1T6za8c&sig=ACfU3U0Ck6HOplyG9qE6EiDZLPoK1OPMJg&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiXipnf-sDpAhWaZ80KHRwSDUQQ6AEwD3oECA0QAQ#v=onepage&q=panaeolus%20cyanescens%20mycelium---concentric%20rings%20on%20agar%3F&f=false
He says it's common for "cottony" mycellial growth. That some species grow in spurts, and this causes a concentric ring effect.
I just inoculated some pints of grain with it, we'll see what happens.

Well all I know is it that stuff grows crazy fast and produced a massive pinset for me.
It’s kind of weird how many kinds of myc pans have.
Cube type like my left plate, kinda fluffy like the right, and that crazy thick marshmallow stuff.
The rings do seem bigger in this type of myc than with cubes though.
