Don't feel like things are looking good for me :(

I got condensation very late in the process about the 2 weeks mark or so, im currently on the third week. The mycelium looked like it was coming through but I just checked it today and found out I had a dark blue-greenish color in 1 jar (which could be bruising but probably not) and a couple spherical transparent orange orbs in the other that as far as I could see. I'm sure this is contaminated. Idk what this orange thing is, never seen it online before. I was gonna give it one more week to hopefully get this cake strong.

It might have a little bacteria, the orange liquid is metabolites the myc produces in response to bacteria/infection.
You don't let grains consolidate, you want to use them as soon as they are fully colonized. You can fruit off cased grain, but for cubes it is much better to spawn it to coir.
What did you use to inoculate? Grains shouldn't be inoculated with spore syringes like BRF cakes, if you are working with grains you should start with a clean agar culture.

I don't see in blue/green in the pictures you provided. I have finally learned to treat those color contaminations as a fuckin' biohazard.
Bacterial issues definitely fuck up my yields but I've still had some ok results when spawning jars like yours into tubs that I immediately set to fruiting conditions.

It’s a little bacterial but it should work.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah it's a rye berry spawn. This is my first time getting this far in the process. I wasn't sure if it was ready to begin fruiting. I thought it needed to be caked over, to the point where I can hardly see any of the grain. So should this totally be okay to start fruiting then?

Yeah it's hard to tell but it's faint maybe I could get a better picture if I open the jar. So shotgun wouldn't be a good idea in this scenario?

For bulk spawn like that rye grain jar you wanna do a shoebox or monotub

Only open it if the jar is fully colonized, it doesn't have to be "cakes over" just fully colonized.
You have to decide what you are going to do with it first. You won't be able to birth it and fruit it like a BRF cake.

I opened the jar and added them to the substrate. This is a better look at the blue thing i was concerned about. I did remove it. It was its own separate clunk, so it easily came off. I gave the jar a couple good whiffs and...it smelt like nothing really, NO awful stench so i mean that's good right?

No awful smell is good. It doesn't mean it's bacteria or mold free but it is a good sign!

Yeah that just look like basic bruising to me.
