Stimulus Money
    #26680594 - 05/19/20 08:16 AM (3 years, 8 months ago)

Found out the ole lady and I are eligible for the stimulus and probably getting $3400.00. I got some money saved up and we are replacing the blown motor in the wife’s car with a factory remanufactured motor with a a 5 year or 100,000 mile warranty. If our government overlords pass another might even replace the transmission. I feel like this would be the best use of this government funny money. What did you guys going to spend or spent your stimulus on?

Keeping it in the bank until the economy starts to show signs of life and I can find a new job, then right to my student loans :frown:

We talked about it but we don’t want to get into debt and if we buy a cheap used car there isn’t a warranty on it.

I bought food and paid bills. Now I'm out of food but I still have bills. I wonder if this is how people lose everything and die. Ill be okay but I seriously feel for all those struggling.

Ephesians 6:12
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Psalm 12:6
The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
Hebrews 11:3
Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
Revelation 3:11
Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

Never even applied for it. My life didn't change at all fortunently. Didn't think it would be right to get something I didn't earn and don't really need. Would have loved to throw a grand at my lab though. I'd love the irony behind using gov cash to brake dog shit laws.

You should take it. You put money into the government, it's okay to get money back from it once in a while. And it stimulates the economy.

Chances are it's coming to you in the mail anyway, because you don't have to apply. It's just going to take forever. If you wanted it sooner you'd have to register your banking info with the IRS, and if you file your taxes electronically then you're gucci, and you just have to make sure it's going to the right account.

Take it and put it back into the economy if you don't need the savings, that's what it's for. Support small businesses. Even if they're technically illegal lol.

I also don't file taxes regularly. Long story. I'm an under the radar kind of person. I'm glad that it's actually going out to people though and it's doing good things for them.

You don't have to be a tax payer to receive it, but hey, to each their own I guess

Maybe I'll look into it more. Thanks for the info! Has anyone used that stimulus to stimulate our sponsors? They enjoy stimulation.

Not sponsors unfortunately, but I did stimulate some spore vendors. And a local dispensary.

And a bunch of bills.
