Multiple verifications appreciated!
This is my first (potential) find. Help me tame my excitement please
Habitat: damp grass + eucalypt leaves. No meaningful rain for about 5 days but ground was still quite damp.
Gills: some dark cream to caramel to chocolate
Stem:
3cm to 10cm long, woody, white on younger ones progressively darker on older ones Not sure if that is what constitutes bruising?
Cap: 2 to 5cm diameter
Spore print color: Unsure about this. To my eye its a brown colour, maybe verging on mauve/purple.
Bruising: Warning: potential confirmation bias at work :P : Most of them seem to have a grey/blue/blackish bruise on the stem, some on the cap.

#15 (This guy was found in a different area with a mix of eucalypt and pine. he has a different cap shape. Could that be the remnants of a ring/veil on the stipe?)

Didn't see nr. 15. That's protostropharia semiglobata

Unreal. Would love more contributions to make me feel at ease.

Psilocybe subaeruginosa is a highly variable species. The bluing is psilocin oxidising. Genetics is what's responsible for the amount of bluing for the most part. Some will bruise more than others.

As for the spore print, they're typical for the species.

Thanks for your contribution mate. Would you say these are older looking specimens? Or is that hard to say in pics?

A couple young ones, none very old. They're a bit weathered, though. I keep thinking these might be psilocybe aucklandii. It's quite similar to subaeruginosa. Try taking some pictures of them before you pick them next time. Let's see if someone else wants to chime in. Very nice find by the way!

They were nestled into some thin grass fairly snuggly. A photo wouldve only showed the cap.
Yeah would love a TIs input

Pretty typical subaeruginosa. Not aucklandii. They dont grow in Victoria. And agreed that 15 is Protostropharia semiglobata.

No. 15 is Protostropharia semiglobata
The remainder are Psilocybe subaeruginosa
