Hey everyone, I know this has been asked, but I can't really find that well of info on the matter.
Basically if I go and say take 200 spore prints and just massive bomb a place with all these spores
Is there a small chance to have them grow in said area.
I'm at the moment making patches and hopping that the spores from those patches will travel and grow in other places.
No shore if any of this makes sense but just asking away

There's a slight chance if there's pastures.

I think you'd have better luck germinating them first. Maybe some liquid culture to dump everywhere. But the spore bombing may work

If your region isn’t conducive to cubensis then probably not. Look up if cubensis grows in your region and make sure the timing is right, but like they all said I’d use already germinated spores. Or both, because now that I think about it, mycelium cultivated in a sterile environment (agar to LC) is more likely to contaminate outdoors than mycelium germinated outside, I think.

I don't think so. Maybe don't go for a clone or an isolate, because you don't know how it will perform outdoors, but otherwise it shouldn't matter IMO. I don't think contam resistance is learned, it's probably genetic.

Yeah a giant blended slurry would probably give it a little more muscle to thrive vs a thin liquid culture

I think this is how nature does it, so as long as they land somewhere viable, there's a chance.
