Mycelium as a network?
    #26677838 - 05/17/20 10:01 PM (3 years, 8 months ago)

So a couple of factors have triggered this question, I have had a few monos who are severely underperforming and barely pinning. So here lies my question does the mycelium communicate as a network or response superficially to pinning triggers? I understand monos are micro climate but why wouldn’t other areas of the tub pin if fruits are being produced in different areas? Is there anything in the environment I can do such as FAE to improve pinning sets or Im just dealing with bad genetics? Thanks for the input.

For a more even flush eat has suggested 'patching' with casing (CV): if the original casing at spawning is colonized unevenly putting more CV on the colonized parts may optimize the whole tub flushing at once.

Is that what you mean? Also genetics but that's probably not the answer you're looking for(?)

Genetics and constant surface conditions will give you a more even flush

I would say genetics and the constant maintenance of that water droplet
micro climate look across all the surface.

It’s all one network, that’s why it won’t pin until it’s at 100% colonization.
