Agar noob question regarding condensation in plates

I did my first agar pour last night and the results were OK with the exception of almost all having condensation. I attempted to clear it from some of them by placing a cup of hot water on top for a bit without much success. I put them all upside down, in a ziploc in the fridge. I'm planning on inoculating some plates with shiitake from a syringe. I already pulled the plates I'm going to be inoculating and placed in a ziploc at room temperature.
How do I deal with the condensation? Should I use an alcohol soaked paper towel to attempt to wipe it off, or just leave it be and continue to store them upside down after inoculation? I'll be wrapping each in parafilm and storing them in a cabinet.

Did you pour the dishes while they were stacked? Having the dishes stacked while cooling cuts out a Lotta condensation. It is also important to pour at the lowest temperature you can without it gelling back up on you (about 125F).

I did indeed stack them, and although some ended up ok, most still ended up with condensation. I let it cool to about 120 prior to pouring, but think I'll let it go a little cooler yet next time. From what I read, you can pour pretty good around 100,but think I'll aim more for like 110.
I tried to follow what I've read to a T, but unfortunately things didn't go as well as I would have hoped lol. Definitely a learning experience though.
My main concern currently is how to handle the plates and start colonizing them.

After inoculating and wrapping plates I like to stack em in a sanitized tote, stacking helps with the condensation from temp fluctuations plus being inside the tote adds an extra layer of insulation. If you’re using an sab and have a little extra time I’d let the plates sit unwrapped with the hot mug on top of the stack for like 30-45 mins, unnecessary but helps with condensation. The top dishes will basically always have condensation but you can just do the hot mug trick for those individual plates after you wrap your other plates.

That's what I should have done last night, allowed more time. It got late I was exhausted af and rushed a little bit. Lesson learned!

You’ll gain dexterity and be able to do quicker fluid movements the more plates you pour lol, saves a lot of time once you know what you’re doing and get the process down.

No doubt, like anything muscle memory and practice improves your results. Ideally I'd like to get a filter and blower and build a flow hood. SAB wasn't too bad, but I can definitely see where the hood would be so much nicer to work with.

Just leave them unwrapped in a SAB for however long you want.

Unfortunately that's not much of an option for me.
I did a second pour last week and had much better results. Let the agar cool a bit longer before pouring, and let them set in the sab for a bit before wrapping. Plates are essentially condensation free!
