This might have been done before. I do not know and didn't find this method in the SF.
Just borde and wanted to try something different so. I have a bunch of hydrated coir (boss cooler style about 40qrts worth) so I mixed 2 cups of hydrated coir to 1 cup of BRF. I thought about adding water but changed my mind.
These were then loaded in to these little 1/2 qrt PP5 containers with holes punched in the lid covered in Micro Pore tape. I ran them for 2 hours in the PC and let them cool.
Mixed up a fresh spore syringe and knocked them up. We will see how it turns out.

Edit: I didn't realize how much more advanced Muda got with his bottles. As someone pointed out to me, yes basically this is his shit. So I have edited to post and changed the title out of respect for a friend.

Looks like a cool little project. What are your plans for fruiting?

Yeah those are muda bottles. Look 'em up. You can use all sorts of substrates for these, even dog food!!!
I've thought about making some of these as gifts for friends and giving to them when the fruits are getting close to being mature so they can have a nice little jar'o'mushrooms on their table for a couple days to admire and feel the joy of cultivation without all the work.
Everyone I explain how to cultivate mushrooms to says whoa, that sounds like a lot of work. Anyway, muda bottles for the win!!!

I always thought Muda bottles were colonized grains with coir loaded on top. I was here when he started doing it. Hence the avatar picture.
Anyway cool I didn't know it grew up into BRF/coir PF style.
Ghost Rider: I might fruit in jar, but I might birth them and HC these. I told Meteah one day I would give his coir tub a run.
