Hi these mushies suprised us just appearing in the middle of the walk way. I pulled the biggest one it blued straight away. But some of the others didn't. They also didn't look like the subs I was hunting for, that I had seen pics of in the Internet. I'm bummed because we had to rush, as families were walking behind us.
Now I'm home, they all have blue bruising I just have no idea what they are (I'm a begginer)
ThNks for your help

Yes way, subaeruginosa. The caps are quite pale, due to them being partially dried.

God I'm so confused lol, just when I think I'm starting to maybe be able to identify them someone posts these (which look to me to be Coprinellus micaceus) and everyone says they are subs!!
How do you people tell the difference! I'm so jealous at not having this skill

Coprinellus Micaceus Mushrooms Don't Bruise Blueish Where Injured/Damaged. Also, The Stems Of Subs Aren't As Fragile As Those Of Coprinellus.

Its not so obvious from the first pic, kind of odd cap shapes which are faded. In the second pic the sturdy white stems are quite characteristic of subs as well as the blue staining.

Also from the first pic, you can see a small dark purple-brown spore deposit on the cap of the mushroom on the right hand side of the main cluster.
