Can I eat these suckers?
    #26673847 - 05/15/20 11:53 PM (3 years, 8 months ago)

Hello Shroomers!

Hoping ya'll can help with an ID.

Been a few years since I've lurked on these boards, but lately I've been finding myself wanting to revisit this world a bit. Was purchasing a car today and noticed these lovely specimens in a nearby landscaped section growing among wood chips.  Central Oregon.

I'm a total novice when it comes to ID, but they look like cubensis that I've seen before.

Cap size is approx 3/8" to 1",  The caps have a golden sheen. Stems are pretty thin.

Thanks!

Not Psilocybe Cubensis, Looks To Be An Agrocybe Sp, Non Active.

To My Knowledge, Psilocybe Cubensis Doesn't Grow Wildy In Oregon. Also, Cubes Are A Dung Loving Sp, So Unless There Happens To Be Manure Mixed In With The Woodchips, You Won't Find Them In Woodchips.
