I buy something called "forest bedding" or something from a pet shop. I would guess you could find some coir if you look at some similar shops!
Never tried what you are linking, but i assume there's added nutrition (NPK) for growing plants in, from what i've read on here i don't think that would be beneficial to your grow.

I've been reading a little on that canna coco thing and there's no additional nutrition listed anywhere, but I'm not sure. Maybe get it from abroad?

Canna coco is recommended by a lot of ppl...mycotek shouts them out all the time on his ig...the bricks would prolly be more cost effective if you could get them

Amazing! That sound nice.
Unfortunately, I cannot get the bricks. Is there any problem with the big bag (I am likely not using everything up at once and it will be standing around open for quite a bit).

Nah, you might just need to rehydrate it a little if it dries out. Just use spray bottle and give it some water if that happens.

I would be surprised if you didn't find any in Sweden. In a neighboring country there is 650gr coir bricks available in a specialized store

I wouldn't use that kind of coir as it is very coarse and will not be very evenly colonized. You can use it, and I've grown on it once with a casing of finely ground coir, but the results are inferior to just fine coir. The fine coir is in bricks and is used as terrarium bedding, I am sure some of the pet stores where you live will have it.

So you mean the exo-terra plantation soil is not good? Seems to be the thing that everyone is suggesting.

Anything that is just coir in a solid brick is good. I guess just coir in some other form is good too. You want only coir.

Plantation soil you linked is the one you want. Coir comes in 2 forms as far as I've seen it: decorative gardening coir and terrarium bedding. You don't want the decorative gardening; it will work, but, as I mentioned above, it is coarse and will hinder the mycs ability to colonise evenly which will in turn provide you with an uneven pinset. Terrarium bedding in 650g brick form will yield the greatest results, as it is finely ground and when rehydrated will have a soil like consistency, which will provide your myc the conditions to evenly colonise it. I used both forms in my grow a few weeks ago and the fine coir is far superior regarding colonisation times and pinset.

Also, from what I see, the coco husk you linked is almost exactly the same as gardening coir even though it is labeled as terrarium bedding. If you can, definitely go for the bricks!

Idk why they call it plantation soil really. As illustrated on the picture on the front of the brick it's meant as bedding for reptiles and amphibians such as that yellow frog.
