neglected Lion's Mane grow bag - bury it?
    #26672454 - 05/15/20 11:07 AM (4 years, 7 months ago)

My first grow was an all-in-one pre-inoculated LM grow kit.

Started off ok, I cut the slits in the bag, misted, etc. A few shroomies fruited. But stalled.

A month+ later, it's "there", no progress. Some discoloration (not green or blue). But not that full "through the holes" giant fruit action.

Should I try to bury this in the yard with some manure? Any tips to salvage something?

You could break it up and make new bags with new substrate to colonize. I did this with some Oysters.

Also, after they were done I threw in it a shady part of my yard and I did get fruits! May depend on your weather though. I'm in PNW so they liked it.

Looks like it might have big flat fruits in there.

I don’t think lions mane like manure though.
