Stalled out? 1

Hi all. First post here but I've been lurking for a while. I am having an issue that I cannot seem to figure out about my tub. I started to see knots about 2 weeks ago and since then nothing has happened.
This is my first attempt at doing BRF cakes to bulk. I started out with 5 1/2 pint jars that were about 80% colonized. Shredded them up and mixed in with some pasteurized coir/verm with a 1:2 ratio. I mixed it all up and it fully colonized in the tub in just over a week.
Here's a quick time table of this attempt.
3/26 inoculated 8 hp jars with spore syringes. Lost 3 due to contamination. 4/14 shredded and mixed in bulk container 4/24 substrate fully colonized 4/30 some signs of knotting (I think)
I noticed that after it was fully colonized that it started to develop a thick clear goopy substance near the edges. I remove it with some paper towels when I notice it. I would mist two or 3 times a day and leave the lid upside down. I live in a low to no humidity area and it stays around 65 in my home all day. They get ambient light throughout the day.
It started turning a yellowish brown near the corners and looking very dry. I did end up putting on a thin layer of vermiculite and misted a lot. It still looks very dry after lightly brushing away some of it today to examine it closer.
Can I same this and get it fruiting? Or toss it?

Let them colonize 100% before you take cakes out of jars. Going from a MS syringe to brf cakes to bulk is risky because generally any contaminations within a syringe will become more apparent as you provide contams with new opportunities to colonize fresh substrate.

I will be starting to use agar on my next attempt to help reduce any contaminants as well as move away from BRF tek. I'm losing 1 maybe 2 jars before being able to get them into fruiting conditions
Any thoughts if this is at all salvageable?

Have you built a SAB yet? I personally would toss it and restart.

I wouldn't toss it until it totally looks like it is contammed. Keep fanning and if it looks dry, mist. Temps are a bit low and this could slow them down. Patience......

That is my project this weekend while doing my first agar plates. I've had very limited space and funds to use until recently.

Don't move away from pf Tek before you get it right, it will teach you a lot about growing before you get too invested in pressure cookers and all the other fun tools. Is the 1:2 ratio coir:verm or spawn: substrate? It looks like a lot of verm, and as stated above shredding your jars at 80% instead of waiting until 100 was a bad idea as well.

I know the temps are on the low side. I tried to warm up the room closer to 70 but it caused issues with the subs getting too dry before I could mist again. I will keep an eye on it for a bit longer and see what it does. I'm not too hopeful for that tub at this point.
No that verm is what I brushed off to get a better view of the sub itself and get pics of it. The sub is fully colonized and it has shrunk quite a bit since I put it in the tub.
The 1:2 ratio is spawn to coir/verm mix. I did 175g coir and 55g verm in that batch.

I would suggest using perlite inside of the vermiculite. It looks pretty wet in there. Also, can you raise the temp to 70F with a space heater? That should help.
