Hey all, Just joined up & first time posting, just after some help in identifying some suspected Psilocybe Subaeruginosa i have growing in a few places in my backyard. Ive done all of the checks with what to look for & these tick all of the boxes just want an educated eye to confirm that these are what i think they are & not Galerina Marginata.
Habitat: moist/damp bark in garden bed under eucalyptus tree & under apple & pear trees that are in planter boxes with similar moist dead bark can see the mycelium everywhere when bark is pulled up, located out in the hills of Melbournes outer east
Gills: light brown/milky coffee
Stem: 4mm to 8mm thick anywhere from 20mm to 60mm long, mostly white tinge of blue in most with some streaks of light brown seems very firm & solid with no membrane ring present, some have bruised blue some have just darkened but have bled out blue on the paper they where sitting on (see pics).
Cap: 10mm to 50mm, young is quite dark caramel & smooth rubbery texture that is mostly round with white fibrous material connecting to the stem from the outer parts of the cap before it has fully opened. Mature is dark caramel to golden/light golden similar texture umbrella shape with slight bump in middle. Older turned up, wavy with some splits on edges with a light ring on top of cap, some blue bruising present.
Spore print: mostly dark brown i cant really pick up any purple in them
Some seem to have grown individually & others have come through in clusters but they all look the same & have the same dark brown spore print & have a very earthy smell to them

Welcome to the Shroomery
All your mushrooms are Psilocybe subaeruginosa. I'm sure.
Enjoy

Yeah we just moved house & stumbled upon these while doing some gardening, done shrooms a couple times before & enjoyed it, got some mates who hunt them too so will have to share them around, ive managed to get 25 dried grams in one month & there are more coming through!
