Recovering from Heartbreaking Disaster, A Lophtastrophe

Hello Shroomerites,
A moment of silence for the fallen lophs that await me on the peyote plain. Daddy's sorry babies. RIP

My questions are in bold. I need answers concerning if I can pot my seedlings and my surviving pups. Details below.
It hurts attaching the photos of what my precious green babies used to look like and seeing what they became. I never ate one, I just kept them producing seeds. Now I'm down from 11 to 1. I need some advice to help go in the right direction. I have some seedlings and some surviving pups.
I have been away from my cacti babies for ten months. As with noble Odysseus, when I returned I found my home and my lophs in critical disrepair. I lost most of the adults I've had for five years. The lone survivor was the largest one and a pup from the second largest.
I did have some seedlings survive which I planted just before I departed.
I want to know what happened to this big boy here; it's been hollowed out from the inside, perhaps some type of rot? It's outer layer seems to be alive, is there anyway to save it? And Is there a way to repot its surviving pup? Can I peel it free?

For reference, this is what it looked like for the five years I had it.

Are these 1 year old seedlings mature enough to be re-potted separately? How long until I can take them off the heat mat and set them up on a window sill?

And the seedlings from this lost generation
My lone survivor, now pockmarked as if she lived through a plague:

Should her pups be left on or can they be peeled off and given their own pots?
I miss you and I'm sorry.

There is a hope, so long as all rot spread has been arrested. Cutting the pup off and dealing with it separately is worth attempting. Slice off with a clean blade, remove any rot, and let callous.
This is the most damaged one I have managed to resurrect, was a nice surprise! :

They should cope with a transplant well enough. Let the soil fully dry, unpot them and let rest for some days for any root wounds to heal, then pot up into a bone dry mix and again leave to rest and recover before getting their first drink. Slowly ease into more natural light so as not to burn them

Comes down to personal preference really. Removing pups will keep more growth going to the main head, and double your plants. But sometimes a good clumper is nice to have
