ID request.
Could only find these little guys, but Im stoked. Fairly confident they are Ovoids, but could not get a spore print (too small?). Please let me know what you think. Im in SEPA and found 20 feet from a decent sized creek.
Thanks!

They look like it to me but I'm a noob. Wait for a more experienced eye.
I managed to snag 80 grams wet from the same patch I went last Thursday. I had a question.
The last harvest from this patch was really weak. Like 6 grams to have a mild trip. Is it safe to say that this harvest will be of similar potency? Or is it typically a total roll of the dice.
I'm really hoping to get at least one more solid harvest but my confidence is waning. I'm hoping that there is some decent rain early next week and that the temps stay decent.

Just A Little Tip, Because I've Done The Same Thing. (Went Back To Take Pics Of A Mushroom, Only To Not Be Able To Find It Again)
Now I Take A 6 Inch Thin Stick & Stick It In The Ground Next To The Mushroom So I Can Locate It Again.

I went back out a 2nd time and still could not find it. Thanks for the tip, i've used sticks as markers when locating not yet mature mushrooms later. Oh well it was really small.

While I am sure potency varies based on conditions, genetics, substrate, but keep in mind that your tolerance to tryptamine drugs like mushrooms seems to build rapidly and takes a while to reset. Even LSD will cause tolerance to mushrooms and the other way around.

Good idea to mark pins they can be a bitch to find again! I feel ripeness directly correlates with potency for a number of reasons, the longer the mushrooms are exposed to sun, moister, oxygen the more actives degrade. The most potent mushrooms will be at peak ripeness. Old mushrooms and tiny pins are a nono. Lately i been saying fuck all and picking everything in sight because they are along all the rivers and creeks this year and its just not worth going back to re pick for a few pins to mature when I could hunt fresh territory. Got a few spots that I baby but even there I have gotten lax and have been picking before they reach peak maturity.

I feel your pain. One of my patches has weird genetics and tends to pop out really small mature mushrooms, so it can be hard to tell which are pins and which are mature! I've gotten lazy too, a few days ago I went for whatever I could find because I figured the dry week coupled with the upcoming week of rain everything would be rotten by the time I could get back.

I found some that were dried before I picked them. Like the attached pic among others. Are they still worth keeping?

If that's an adorable amount my 13g dry is off the charts adorable
Season's over here, probably couple wine caps and a stray whatever the fuck lbm was growing in my patch. Not driving 30 minutes to check other spot in this heat. Still a jump from last season for me! 8g dry to 13g+ this year. So happy to hear and see first/second year hunters finding their first hauls! It's been epic this year! Hopefully, it's only begun... We shall see about the next couple weeks/ fall maybe.

People that talk haul size are over compensating for something. Pretty pics and helping noobs, everything else is boring.

Yes^ it's all about the hunt/ discovery
Every season since I've started finding them (3 years) has been a perfect amount for my personal consumption/ desired amount to find. Never asked for too much/ over hunted. Watching all the first timers has been an extra dollop of daisy on top.
