Hey I saw you tried the 'allergy medicine' treatment....The drug I took that helped was diphenhydramine. It's and allergy medicine so at first I thought that's why it helped but later realized the drug had other actions responsible for its anti-paralysis effects....it also effects the muscarinic acetylcholine receptors. I also took Piracetam and that helped a lot with the blurry vision and mental fog. Hope this helps!
In vitro, the rank order of anticholinergic potencies of the antihistamines was cyproheptadine>promethazine>desloratadine>diphenhydramine>loratadine>chlorpheniramine.
Also way to go on the 'young mushroom theory'. I am going to second what you said....I have also noticed that in mushrooms that cause WLP, the younger ones seem to not be bad at all. In my experience, the older you let them get the more paralysis you will experience. This was one of the reason for the "black rot hypothesis". It's more common in the older mushrooms. I think it has to do with this:

Basically there is an enzymatic process in which the active compounds are made....In theory, later down that process is when the paralysis inducing compound are produced. Thus, eating the younger fruits of a paralysis causing wood lover (subs, cyans, azzies).
