Thanks psilosadhu!

I assume that means they are edible?

Not necessarily. Smell them and cut iff the base. Edible agaricus species smells like almonds or anise and does not stain yellow where bruised.

Depends On What You Mean By Edible. Does It Taste Good? Probably Not. Is It Poisonous? No. However, That One Doesn't Look So Good, So I Definitely Would Not Eat It.

sometimes there are some toxic varieties with the almond/anise if I remember correctly, yellow stain8ng alone isn't an indicator or toxicity because there are some edibles that will initially stain/bruise yellowish but then brown within 15mmin.

Here's a link to a key that you can use to try and to get to species level. It's a North American key but some of the species are in Australia,  you may want to look online for an Australian key or New Zealand.
