Hello guys
I am very new to this . Just moved to australia 2 weeks ago and apparently where I live there are load of "babies" growing up .
I am IN Victoria north east suburb .
Its my first ever pick and I saw many people out there next to me searching .I am really excited about my new " hobbie " but have very few knowledge atm . I am starting to read and learn more about picking .
I consider my self am an experienced psychonaut but have never gone picking until today .
Habitat : near creek , woodships
Gills: light brown (Cap) stem ( white which turns blue in most of them )
Spore print color : not able because they were too small ( I picked the ones that were already out of the ground )
Cap : very small , light brownish
Bruising : most of them turn blue
These are my photos both of the habitat and the afterwards any tips on how to dry them would be much appreciated (if they are ok to eat )

The're all subs. Put em in a dehydrator on the highest setting or at least in front of a heater until you get a dehydrator. Once you're certain they're 100% dry put them in airtight glass jars with desicant and store out of direct light.
Those mushrooms are likely going to be potent as (especially because they're pins). So I wouldn't have more than 5g fresh [0.5g dry] for a first experience.
Enjoy

I am good. Thank you.
Have them infront of a fan or in a paper bag over a ducted heating vent.
The mushrooms must be completely dry before being stored in an airtight glass jar with desicant, so I always recommend drying them for at least another 10 minutes once you think that they're completely dry to be on the safe side.

Psilocybe subaeruginosa.
You picked them far too young/small. These are just pins, the veils havent broken and they are not dropping their spores, therefore cannot reproduce.
Pins are not more potent than mature subs. General consensus is they are more potent in relation to their size or for the amount they weigh.
