I've been doing some thinking -- wondering why elephants weight more than mice...

Now, I know, that my chemistry knowledge is fairly limited, but I think it is because the atoms that make up elephants are denser than the atoms that make up mice. I can't find either Pachydermium or Rodentium on my periodic table of elements chart (it's kinda old), but I would imagine that pachydermium has a significantly higher atomic number (meaning more electons, neutrons, and protons) than rodentium. Therefor, an animal made from the "heavier" atoms of pachydermium would naturally weigh more -- similar to how gold weighs more than aluminum.

I'm busy packing for a trip tonight, so I can't give it much more thought, but perhaps if we have some chemistry people here, they could shed some light on this phenomenon...

Packydermium 255 is highly radioactive...

that's why elephants butts smell so much, because of all the Alpha, Beta, and Gamma particles being emitted.
