Pretty sure it got contaminated :( 1

So I few weeks ago I posted some pics from my BRF Jars of Brazil Corumba mycelium and was a little worried because there were some grey-ish areas on the Jar around the edges of the white mycelium. So in a way this is kind of an update as well as curious if anyone else has had this happen to them.
I went a head and let them continue to colonize because some people mentioned that they have had grey looking mycelium and their grows turned out fine. So today I birthed a few of them just to get a better look. I have 10 jars and all look pretty much the same. As far as procedure goes, I used 2 to 1 ratio verm to brown rice flour and water, brought to field cap and PC on 15 psi for 90 min. flame sterilized between each jar and inoculated the next day. I tried to be as sterile as possible, but I didnt have a flow hood or a SAB at the time.
Its also worth noting that is is my first ever attempt to grow, so the inoculation didnt go so smooth, lol. I ended up putting too much liquid culture in my jars, and had some trouble properly inoculating between the substrate and jar. blame it on first time excitement I guess. Other than that, I may of fucked up by putting regular tape over the injection holes. Not sure if that contributes to the off color.
Anyways, I birthed two cakes, they came out easy and feel spongy to the touch, but firm. The cakes smell like fresh mushrooms as well. Has this happened to anyone before? Wondering if anyone knows what this is as far as contam, if it is that.

Yep. That sure looks like trich. Don't be spreading that shit around. Future grows could suffer.

No idea, but trich doesn't look like that.

I'm wondering if it's a form of aspergillus mold. It's pretty common in house holds and can be grey or green on color

I didn't make it. I procured it from a vendor. Also, looking back I was pretty certain I was sterile as possible. Someone mentioned it could of been the syringe that I got, and I'm thinking it was. A week after I inoculated the Corumba, I did a batch of Golden Teachers using the same tek. The GT are doing really well right now. But at the time I had 1 extra jar of BRF leftover, so I grabbed the Corumba syringe that had a few CC left and decided to inoc the extra jar. I put a new needle on, wiped the body of the syringe down with alcohol, and flame sterile the needle. I just noticed that the extra jar has the same mold growing in it as well.

Just for my curiosity was it..
A: White mycelium suspended in water?
or
B: Black spores suspended in water?

Definitely sounds like a contam from the source material. Usually if every jar has a contam like that and you followed relatively sterile procedure, especially with PF, that's what it is. Syringes aren't too difficult really if they're prepared for you. Flame the tip (which you did) and wipe the lid with alcohol sometime before injecting, then cover (which you did).
That's 100% mold of some sort, I'd kill it with fire. Toss it asap. Sterilize your area that it was in. If you put it in a fruiting chamber, I'd toss any perlite or verm that was in there and bleach down the chamber before putting anything else in there.

Oh yea for sure! I already tossed my cakes, washed the jars and soaked them in bleach water solution. I'm actually PC'in them right now just to make sure. I know its overkill, but I plan in using them with my next syringe in a few days, so better safe than sorry. Luckily I didn't put them in my fruiting chamber, and I sprayed the shit out of the tub I had my jars in and the area I work in when doing inocs and growing. I need more iso alcohol after today! Lol. That shit is getting hard to find lately.

So, for future reference, you have a multi-spore (MS) syringe of ungerminated spores in a non-nutritive solution.
A liquid culture is currently living eating and growing.
Is the vendor replacing them for you?

Oh cool! Thanks for the info, I appreciate it. I'm still learning my terminology with all this fun new hobby. But I haven't contacted the vendor about it. Is that something they even do? I mean, given what we do with it and all.

Just say you scoped it out and it’s contaminated with mold spores. It depends on the vendor and how they value their reputation/reviews. Are you considering agar? You can steam sterilize no pour plates. It’s easy.

Yes! I actually have just bought everything I need for agar and should get everything by next week. I'm pretty excited. Bought a neat SAB too. Didn't want to make one and didn't mind buying a good one online. And I'll give it a shot with the vendor and see if they will accommodate me. What do you mean by no pour plates? I did buy the malt extract and agar to make/pour plates

If you have an SAB, media bottles, petris, and agar just follow a traditional tek and search for no-pour later. Traditional petris are your best option for recognizing potential contamination and sectoring away the best mycelium.
