That looks freakin' awesome, and here I am happy with my 3$ SAB with black electrical tape for comfort... To be honest I am not really sure why one would need a professional looking workspace like that, how many truckloads of mushrooms are you growing? hahahha!

To be honest edibles have become a thing for me so I'm chasing that hard and.... I like pouring hundreds of plates
I also like DIY.... and overkill....and comfort.
You guys haven't even seen the shit I'm going to deck this thing out with yet. The way I roll this will likely resemble the interior of the Apollo crew compartment.

Got my piece of lexan in today. I feel is unnecessary, but I do like a fully enclosed station as this is how I was setup before. I can keep a few things overhead and not worry about anything falling into the work area. Plus because. Used some small gauge aluminum angle to support the sag as well. Also decided to make a nice center cubby with some spring loaded cabinet hinges to store my tools / plate wrap etc.
Still going to add lighting for the said cubby and I will be putting up a paper tower bar as well. Also likely some more hooks and whatnot for ready access things.
Just poured 250 plates tonight no problem. Was able to have every single one up on there ready to go with room to spare. Could probably have 300, plus room for the 15 500ml media bottles required if I really wanted. I'm liking the room so I don't think I'll push it like that.

Dude I feel that. I looked.for a year before pulling the trigger. I need at least 6 months progress with this thing to ease the trauma of overthinking about it.

Fuck man that looks like an awesome work station, like another level type of shit lol. I am looking on fungi perfecti at their 12x24 filter, im pretty sure we have the same blower they recommend at work sitting in a pile of other blowers and motors. Ill just see about paying my boss for it and start the process of putting a flow hood together. I really need to stop procrastinating and get one done.

Don't wait like I did, I'm still kicking myself for waiting. Muster some motivation and your done in a weekend. I worked my ass off but was 90% done in 24 hours. A small box style like most people are running could be mostly whipped up in a few hours if you got a skill saw and know how to run a tape measure.

Oh yea I got all of the tools, and knowledge of how to put one together it kinda been some tight times financially. I should be able to get the blower from work, 1tdt2, for 50$ or less and a filter for 200$ or so. Iv got some plywood that is just sitting in my basement from renovating my bathroom so I'm aiming for the end of the month and I should have me a flow hood.

If you are getting a 1tdt2 I take it you're building a 12 x 24 then yeah?

I often keep plates and LC in there, yes. It also has a plastic cover for when it isn't in use. But for anything that isn't "this week" Current I have a work table with a 4 foot wide lighted drawer below to keep all my plates.
