Hi all, Can I get an opinion on whether these cakes might fruit?

I had birthed them too early before full colonization ( one month in jars). My theory was that my verm was too coarse and that BRF wasnt evenly distributed and that the mycelium wouldn't spread further. They had stopped making progress for about a week.

They're now three weeks in the SGFC. I can see that there's a layer of growth over the verm casing. I had thought that this was mycelium but could it be contam?

I don't see any pinning and at this point I'm wondering if I should scrap this batch or wait it out.

Thanks in advance!

Those are contaminated. Wait next time until full colonization occurs and you begin to see the Hyphal knots or mushies forming. If they stall, that usually means that they have already contam'd. Throw em out and start over.
