Just finished Westworld. I really enjoyed season 1. After Season 2, I really didn’t care whether there was a third Season. I almost didn’t watch season 3, but I’m glad I did. It was the best of the 3 seasons.

Another Amazon original I gave a watch recently was the series Upload. It's pretty meh. It's got a very network tv feel in it's execution, and I kind of hate that about it. Kind of a shame because the basic premise is interesting enough that I would like to see a show(that's not Black Mirror, though it kind of reminded me a little of a shittier version of the San Junipero episode) explore it.

A Hulu Show called “ The Path “.
Starts a little slow, but Gets better quickly as it goes on. I’m into shows that explore the cult dynamic, especially ones where not everything about a cult is only bad, or good-where the world of the cult isn’t just painted black or white. It explores and asks some good questions, and the whole thing plays out in a way I can see modern Aya cults and others like them playing out.
I give it a 9/10 ... mainly because of their usage of psychedelics as a sort of sacrament, and it stars Aaron Paul (breaking bad) - and he’s usually pretty damn entertaining to watch.

I tried a little bit of it this past week as I was flipping through the Amazon stuff and I agree -- it definitely has a strong network TV feel. Feels exactly like something I'd find on NBC (minus the cursing). And you're right, it does have a good premise. The description of it alone intrigued me enough to try it out.

Last night I tried Goliath (Billy Bob Thornton) and Tales from the Loop. Both Amazon series. Promising enough so far. Especially Goliath.

Just finished the first season of Ozark tonight after watching it for a few days. 9/10 this show is INTENSE
