2nd golden teacher flush.....
    #2662114 - 05/11/04 07:03 AM (19 years, 11 months ago)

So it's the 2nd flush of golden teachers, after being dunked for 12 hours tons of pins appeared.  Now there are about 5 or 6 mature mushrooms, but they don't seem to be getting very big.  Do golden teachers tend to stay on the small side?  The biggest one is about 3 1/2 inches long.  Although the veil has not broken yet I was wondering if it would get much bigger after doing so.  Thanks for the input!

I'm a noob to this but from what I have read some of the most potent ones are the smaller aborts.

the bigger they are the less potent they will be. Its mostly a slight difference though.

Well from what I figured dried weight is dried weight. Say I have 5 grams from 3 dried mushies, or I have 5 grams from a cap, if I eat the 5 grams dried wouldn't it have the same effect? So really I would want them to be a little thicker than they have been forming.

so even if I let the caps open and let them grow bigger it will still have the same effect as if the veil were just about to tear right?

Aloucara, I read elswhere that the pyslocin and psylobin was produced in mushrooms up until a certain age and then no more is produced; yet the mushroom continues to grow. The point was that the younger ones have a higher psychoactive ingredient percentage than the larger, more developed ones. For the reasons stated. Hypothetically speaking, if the mushroom created 2 cmm's of psyochactives, and stopped growing, it would be larger in mass:psychoactives than if it discontinued psychoactive production and continued to grow.
