Would cardboard sheets make an ideal block to make a still air room?

I have been trying to use my SAB in a clean closet that sits in a narrow hallway, perfect idea but it's slightly too small and a lil hard to work in but manageable.
If I could sit just outside the door at a chair, and have the space behind me blocked off, then this would be much more ideal.
Would cardboard sheets be ideal to create this block or would it absorb contaminants when I spray the area?
Or do you think a tarp would work better?
Thanks and mush love

I don't understand. Do you mean making a sab out of cardboard, or blocking the hallway with cardboard?

I put my SAB on my kitchen table usually. Don't build a room for SAB work unless you're homeless and don't already have a room.
Also the room doesn't get sprayed.

Ok cool, just thought one single panel would make my life easier and more sterile than using an open area.
I don't spray the room right before use. I spray the closet very lightly with Ozium 4-5 hours before use, then I mist the closet with hot water about 45 minutes before use, then the still air box with hot water about 20 mins before use. Might not be entirely necessary but it makes me feel better.
Correct me if I'm wrong to do so, cheers.

use good technique and you dont need a lvl5 bio suit to knock up a jar.
I'll literally get done scratching my nuts decide i should do some transfers wash my hands spray my SAB with the paper towel down, torchh scalpel. Fucking done. I stopped turning off my AC unit, wearing gloves and tyvek sleeves, and got comfortable and confident not waving my hands over my sterile work and i've been fine. Can't imagine prepping my SAB work 4-5 hours in advance.

aight so the closet IS the SAB.
or no wait, you put a SAB in a closet? You can put your SAB out in the front yard as long as no drafts or breezes blow air into it.
The SAB s whole function is to provide a small work area where there is zero air currents. Air currents keep fungus/molds/spores/baddies aloft in the air. By preventing any air current (Still Air) form happening inside the Box, the fungus/molds/spores/baddies cannot suspend in the air (they are heavier) and they fall STRAIGHT down. So if you wipe down the inside of the SAB and put a wet towel on bottom and wait 10 minutes, you should have a nice clean still air environment to work in.
if you can afford to give up a whole closet on your house, turn that whole bitch into a cleanroom. Put a HEPA unit up top and a lexan front panel and some shelves and shit.

While your waiting for the air to settle, do you like to stuff the holes?
I don't wait for the air to settle and I don't stuff the holes
by the time I'm ready to work it's settled out 30-60 seconds anyway
