Hi guys! this is my first post and first time picking. I think i've come across some actives, at least, the most convincing ones ive seen. I've definitely seen inactives and poisonous dopplegangers, but this is the first time i found blue in the stem. Usually the ones ive come across have orange/yellow stems and no blue, which is dangerous for what grows in my area. These had no yellow/orange in the stem. Only concern is what could be a veil attached on the stem from the gills, something which the skullcap (galerina) has. I've definitely seen the veil on others i believe are inedible, but these have a black tinge going around the stem towards the top which kinda reminds me of the veil, but its not similar to the veil of the dangerous mushrooms.
Habitat: Found at a local park among tanbark, grass, and leaves and sticks. A pretty woody debris.
Gills: Brown, kinda like chocolate milk. Gills attached, adnexed i'd say.
Stem: Longer stem is 30mm long, about 7mm wide. White when picked with slight blue tinge appearing. Split a little when squeezed. Shorter stem is about 23mm long, 4mm wide. Same colour, texture and other properties as the bigger one. Picture attached
Cap: Light brown, maybe going towards bronze/gold. Diameters of the small and big are 20mm and 32mm respectively. smooth on top, i think a convexed shape. Except the smaller one has splits, making it look like a palm tree (pic attached).
Spore print color: Brown, more on the darker side. I wanna say almost a violet/purple but cant say with certainty. I've read the 'skullcap' in my area has a light to rusty brown print. Pic attached
Bruising: Bruised a lot of blue and kinda black. Stem looks a bit silver because of it.
Other information: Scent when picked kinda just smelled like edible mushrooms you'd buy at the grocery shop. A concern i have is a small veil type black tinge going around the stem, something that the galerina 'skullcap' has in my area.
