ID Request SE Melbourne

Habitat: Where does it grow? SE Melbourne near Mornington Peninsula in eucalypt/wattle forest with some pine trees about. South side of trees growing amongst some native grasses in a heavily wood and leaf littered area. Area was wet.
Gills: Brown, attached.
Stem: 3-7cm, sub stem texture although a little waterlogged. Bluing already started before picking. Hollow.
Cap: 2-6cm, brown with remnants of caramel. Caps appear very waterlogged/old. Fell apart fairly easily. Cap colour is my only concern so far as they're darker than I'd have thought.
Spore print color: TBA
Bruising: Stems were already largely blued, no real change since picking
Other information: as mentioned I think these are waterlogged subs but I've not much experience with darker coloured caps. I found a heap like this a week or so ago but tossed them (wasn't aware of this ID thread).

Ripper thanks for that. Was a little sketchy on the darkness. I'm not a regular on forums so didn't get the photo uploads working right! It's been 20 odd years since I was harvesting and this isolation thing means my brain needed a reset. It got very reset over the weekend and I am definitely a better man for it!

I'm in the same boat brother. Haven't had shrooms for 8 years, the coronachan stuff got me super edgy, need a hard reboot here too.

It's amazing how doing so little can be so stressful!

Thank you. Could I ask one more favour though to really set my mind at ease & have you take a look at these spore prints? There wasn't much to go on as there were more bugs than spores!

Your spore print's looking good. Leave the caps for a few hours longer to get a better print.

Cheers. That was more than 24h. There's just no spores left! They were old and very waterlogged. I'm adding them to my powder mix to bulk it up a little but I'm afraid they're going to ever so slightly degrade a pretty good quality grind.
