Politics of mold
    #26662528 - 05/10/20 01:58 PM (3 years, 9 months ago)

Recently graduating from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, I worked on flooding issues as part of a university team for the past year. What we found is very interesting in many ways, but one way, is that the federal government, nor many MANY state and local govs. don't have regulations or guidelines on what is considered mold, how much mold is ok to have in your home, and offer no help in the removal of it if it is present. This article I worked on seems like something that may be of interest to atleast SOME of the community.

Interesting, thanks. I'm allergic to mold and I go out of my way to make sure it's not growing on my properties.

No problem. And yeah, if you're in the US, the federal law has no limitations to acceptable amounts of mold, doesnt really define mold and ha sno control over removal in terms of FEMA in post-disaster situations. Depending on state, they dont either... much like Nebraska.
