 Honda Garage. EK, FG, GL1000 builds. (With pics) (update 12/11/20) (NEW ADDITON)

Under construction.
THE FIRST BUILD
Build started out as a Jdm h23 vtec swap into a Cg5 accord
you can see it wrecked in photos from the tow yard
Wasn't my fault got a payout. Bought back car as salvage to start again.
(big thanks to my mates for helping and storing the motors during the first build)
will try to dig up photos of that.
THE NEW PLATFORM
Bought EK sedan, Came with a mexi spray job, Not terrible but has flaws. Is a color shift
goes from purple to black has a bit of gold flake in it.
car was well taken care off no rust and no big interior flaws.
a few surprises,
like a front quarter replacement
can see it was in a small accident as passenger side quarters have some gaps
nbd can fix. everything else is still oem
they had different wheels and a exhaust that they hastily swapped back.
we will get to that later.

So its been almost 6 months since the last update.
I live in a liberal state and as such, have to work around the covid madness.
But lets be real, projects take back seats all the time.
And i got quite a few going at once.
Not to be defeated, ill just add another one.
Ah la, The FG1 Manual Coup.
Basically the Poor lil d16, as d16's want to do. disintegrated her head gasket.
Now im not a lazy man, but i am practical.
Im not going to take the heads off, and fix a 300k mile motor just to pull it out and scrap it for a bigger bader built one.
Instead i just let it melt a few plugs, blow some hoses, over heat and die, Run it on three cylinders.
And finally in a last gasp of breath, blow the water pipe completely apart.
So now i got the fg1 to be my DD.
Shes got some beauty marks and a load of clear coat scratches.
But shes only 112k miles, a manual, and fantastic gas mileage.
I have ideas for it, but its at the bottom of the list.
BUT! i must show it some love.
So here is the new shifter.
And a few family shots.
Thats my update as of now.
Making moves in life
and hopefully, these moves will open up more time and money for the hobbies...

thanks for tuning into the build.
originally the plan was to find a 5th gen prelude to just drop the motor in.
But now its evolved into some more complicated swap action.
