Noob Question
    #26661982 - 05/10/20 09:38 AM (3 years, 8 months ago)

So I got a grow kit that I think is ready to be birthed, basically I've seen and read a fair amount about using FC's so I decided to put one together instead of the grow bag it came with.

It's a basic setup, holes equally spaced around the middle of the tub following a guide, four larger holes at the top. Got a bag of perlite to put in the base layer, then just birth the cake, dunk for 12-24 hours, roll in verm, and place onto foil cut to the size of cake making sure it's not touching the perlite, mist/fan when necessary etc...

My question, if I put this in the fruiting chamber I've put together do I run the risk of it not working because I didn't follow the instructions with the kit?
The instructions tell me to birth directly into a small plastic tub it came with and then use the grow bag provided.. but it seems kinda small and constricted if that makes sense? Surely the FC would produce better conditions for bigger yield?

I'm not 100% sure what they used in the kit. Assuming BRF.
Any assist would be appreciated, got this far and be a shame to mess it up now!

Thanks guys!

Nah you dont have to fruit it in the bag. You can use the chamber.

Not sure which is better since ive never used kits or bags

Its easy to make your own man, start doing it all on your own and youll have more shit to work with and get more experience with different techniques
