Yeah I realise that they aren't great... anyway I appreciate the help/feedback and will endeavour to get some better pics next time. What's your experience with the dosage of these guys? They're tiny, almost as small as some I picked in the north of England and I recall having about 20 odd at a time

Cool. Certainly the second lot had darker gills. Thanks again

Okay I managed to get a pretty crappy print from a smaller older one I found then next day
Hard for me to be 100% sure they are the same mushroom as were a bit older
Yeah bro. I would totally put my left nut on the chopping board for these being Psilocybe tasmaniana, even though your specimen quality and picture quality suck balls.

The first time I found Psilocybe tasmaniana mushrooms I ate just one really big one fresh and I sure felt it, they are perhaps Psilocybe subaeruginosa level potency, you could sure categorize them as extremely potent.

Okay mine seem fairly small... I doubt I'd have more than 0.2g of the tasmaniana, maybe a little more of the others. Any experience with them? These are the first nth island mushies I've found.

Ok fine. I'll put my whole nutsack on the chopping board for these being 100% Psilocybe tasmaniana...

I have seen so many of these things in real life. I was up to my elbows in these things at a point. I know the species well enough.
That opaque golden-brown/blue cap with purple gills underneath, look at that bite in the cap. I see purple gills underneath.

sam11 said: As I said that print is from a second patch (dunno if 4 counts as a patch) next to neighbouring tree which got the same treatment re mulch etc. They were approximately 4m away and were far from fresh so I have wondered why I got a print from them but not the one in my first photo. Initially I thought perhaps it was because I pinched it's stem then left it over night and only realized that I had something the following day. The second patch had gills that were a bit darker. What do you think? Do they look like different types?
I thinks that the mushrooms that don't drop prints (white gills) are Psilocybe angulospora

Psilocybe tasmaniana are often found fruiting along side (or in close proximity) to the aforementioned Psilocybe angulospora...
Psilocybe tasmaniana do leave a sporeprint...

Hey the pics of the Psilocybe tasmaniana have little blue green balls in the soil around them.. is that yara mela by chance

I would say that Psilocybe tasmaniana are a little bit more potent than Psilocybe angulospora. Possibly. Potency might overlap from population to population though. Fuck knows honestly. Woodlover psilocybe mushrooms are generally potent/have a decent bite to them.

You tell me. Fuck knows. Those little blue green balls whatever the fuck they were seem to have decomposed over time though, those pics are fairly old.
That place still fruits mushrooms, but the little ball things vanished over time.

looks like an artificial fertiliser to me. caught my eye because i have used something that looks similar on my trees, it dissolves over a few weeks depending on rain etc. wondering what to do with my spore print.. have read about spraying it round with water but thought about putting the whole thing in one spot under some bark chip..
