    #26661246 - 05/10/20 12:09 AM (3 years, 8 months ago)

I know its been a long time, Ive been having anxiety about posting for some reason.
I lost sight of what made it fun, and i really was hoping to have some projects finished, but havent gotten much even started.
School kicked my butt, then my first post school job came along and i got screwed over pretty hard.
I know this isnt the place for my damn life story, so ill finish up by saying im hopefully back posting and I hope you enjoy the pics from the last year+

Take Care

Hey, welcome back, good sir!

Really nice to see you here once again, you've been such a great resource for this community, not
least due to your "psilocybin species" write-up, which is ever in use as a point of reference to a myriad
of would-be hunters and new members. And of course your astonishing pictures. Those ovoids are
a sight for sore eyes, for sure.

Hopefully you'll have some time to hang around.

Wow, that's a hot little group. Really nice shots, too!

We just had the first recorded find of this species
last fall, they were found in the eastern part of the
country growing in wood chips, identified through
DNA sequencing at Alvalab. I doubt they grow where
I live, but I'll keep on looking for them.

That is the coolest Fuligo shot I've ever seen,  never seen it look like that, it's always had the course look of cornmeal to me, but I can see that is what it is.

edit: I can't find any other observations that show it growing on mushrooms,  have any of you?

Haha I have seen them growing on other mushrooms, but rarely. Mostly out here in the pine forest. It really likes to eat mycelium and move on...

Psilocybe pelliculosa growing in its natural shorepine Habitat.
This is what I love, natural grown psilocybes. Cant get much better than in the middle of a forest with no disturbance from people!
