I didnt think i made too much impact, but its cool people remember me!

What camera and lens combo are you using now?

same as i did before i left
Canon 60D
100mm L series cannon macro
Sigma ring flash
vanguard alta-pro tripod - this got stolen last year, someone broke into my car and stole my favorite mushroom backpack and some camera gear...
I need some replacement stuff for some items. Maybe some day...

That is the coolest Fuligo shot I've ever seen,  never seen it look like that, it's always had the course look of cornmeal to me, but I can see that is what it is.

edit: I can't find any other observations that show it growing on mushrooms,  have any of you?

Haha I have seen them growing on other mushrooms, but rarely. Mostly out here in the pine forest. It really likes to eat mycelium and move on...

Psilocybe pelliculosa growing in its natural shorepine Habitat.
This is what I love, natural grown psilocybes. Cant get much better than in the middle of a forest with no disturbance from people!

Cheers!

OH MY!!!!!!

Joust, those pictures you just posted of the pellic's are just breathtaking, awe-inspiring and more.  You have serious talents in multitudes.  To me, that is seriously the most beautiful, magical, phantasmagorical thing ever - psychedelic mushrooms just chilling in the woods, doing their things - maybe some animals will come by and have a little num num.  Just honestly inspiring....

Please keep going!
