So i really dislike eating dryed mushrooms, even a .2 makes my stomach feel gross and like i wana puke lol, so i do them in a tea. Most recently a 35g wet tea. Now assuming these are a cloned culture and potency remains mostly the same (i know size variations can differ the potency but humor me) What would my dose be in dried wieght. I also know these individual mushrooms dry to 8.7% weight, but calculating it that way doesnt account for fresh mushroom psilocin and any other losses you get from drying. I also had the freshies in a tea,(with citric acid) boiled for 10 steeped for another 10 minutes.
So what would some one whos tripped a ton say that 35g wet tea is worth in dried weight. Very hard question to answer but, from your experience what have you guys noticed?

I harvested some Mazatapec a few months back, and made lemon tea from 55g fresh. From those I dried I calculated the water content at 94.7%, so the 55g would have equated to 3.1g dry. A few weeks later, I took 3.7g of dried Mazatapec in lemon tea, and they were not a patch on that first trip from fresh (3.1g equivalent)...dunno!

Not sure on the teas, but have you tried eating shrooms with food? Its what I do, and my current preferred method of ingesting dried shrooms.

Wouldn’t that slow down the digestion though? I like the teas I’m just curious the difference I guess it wet to dry trips, like I said I know they dry to a certain value but fresh has psilocin unless boiling removes that?

It doesnt slow it down by a ton, but yeah it does by about 20-30 mins, depending on how much u ate. I like the slower come up myself.
Yes, fresh is more potent by weight therefor you use less. I usually go by volume with fresh fruits.
