Main squeeze for EDC.
Benchmade 531 Mel Pardue G10 scales and 154CM blade steel.

Babied it as a letter opener for a few years. Now it’s in service. Still no prying. lol

Cool knifes.
I just have kitchen knives. Before weed was legal the cops were going to arrest me for smoking a joint.
They wanted to know if i had weapons, i told them just weed. I pulled out my medical license and I tried to give them my bag of weed, like to share.
They just told me to go away. Would never carry anything like that.

Ohio has some draconian knife laws. It’s a letter opener/ tape splitter only. My firearm is my legal means of defending myself in public if LEO inquires.

I’ve considered one of those. I’m not a Glock fanboy per se but I’ve only not bought that because it’s made in China and the low cost has me suspect of the quality.

I have my Leatherman Surge in my get home bag in my trunk so it’s always nearby.

Yes I also have a leatherman wave but I find it too heavy to carry around everyday as I don't use like 3/4 the tools on it ever.

I bought mine over 30 years ago. I think they were made in Austria at the time
Its a great utility knife and uses some of the hardest steel available. They do have a tendency to rust but are pretty much indestructable
I was in the boyscout and all the oldr guys had these knives so we wanted them too. At the time they were advertised as being able to pierce

My ESEE is 1095 spring steel. Surface rusts instantly but strong as can be.

Used to tote this Ontario Night Stalker 9 camping to process wood. 1/4” spine and the kukri shape chops like a champ.

Cheap nylon sheath is my only complaint. I’ve looked for custom kydex to no avail.

Like all of the sharpest knife steel I've had seems to rust instantly if not kept oiled
