Mini Mushroom Problem

I am having a really weird problem with my current grow. I am not new to growing and have never came across this issue. I am currently growing a few different strains. About 2 weeks ago my Malabars started to fruit and the whole tub was these mini pin size mushrooms. They were all about 1/4" tall like a pin but fully grown with broken vail. I figured it was just bad genetics but this week one of my Golden Teacher tubs did the same. It looked like it was going to be a good first flush with tons of pins but again they grew to about 1/4" and then reached maturity. I am mad because this was a very large tub using 3 1.5pint jars of mycelium and 8 pounds of bulk casing. When I say tiny I mean the size of a day or two old pin. Basicly not worth harvesting.
I know it could be genetics since I'm using multispore but what are the odds that 2 different strains would both be the same weird micro mushrooms genetics especially since an identical tub with Golden teacher multispore did great (could be a different syringe but same company). Im using normal storage tubs lined with BPA free trash bags. The only other thing I can think of is some thype of chemical In the trash bags but they arent scented or anything. Any ideas? its ruining my grow!

Im going through the same thing now. And its with Golden Teachers. I've been scrambling for months trying to figure out whats going on, and I'm now thinking its just shitty genetics. I've changed so many variables to try and fix this grow, but after changing so many things in 20+ tubs with similar results, I'm gonna say it's just some bum genetics going around right now.

Yours are opening way prematurely. I'm betting it's environmental, something you are doing. I have seen caps open prematurely like that in overly wet substrates. It's possible you are prepping your sub too wet. Or you could be over misting. Could also be low FAE.
I need more data about your substrate, your tubs (are they mono tubs using 6 holes + poly fill, are they unmodded etc..).
Alternatively could be bacterial substrate. Are you using clean cultures on agar to inoculate? Spore syringes are not clean enough for grains. Need to germinate spores on agar and transfer clean myc away from bacteria or mold, to get a clean culture to use as inoculant.

20 tubs? Is it only your GT giving you these results?
