Ate 2grams dry from some of the bucket I posted earlier. Plenty potent considering I must have built a tolerance from an outrageous yeti trip I had a few days ago. The trip had a nice duration too.

That Yeti trip, haha, I've got some on grain right now. Getting that tested will be fun

Iβll send you a swab set, Iβve got a couple tubs maturing in the next couple days so can make some fresh ones. Maks are solid in the potency category
Mellifuros that would be great I would greatly appreciate it.i will send you a message . I hear that the yeti is so strong some people take a break from tripping afterwards.

My Yeti clone is full of shit tho lol They're terribly slow and the first flush is a joke not even worth hasvesting. It's almost as if the colony needed to purge a little before pulling out the good stuff for the second flush.
That second flush is something incredible though, and potency is even greater than the APE I used to grow in the past. The trip off of 2g felt like a full-blown LSD experience.

That all sounds pretty typical for Yeti, I followed your Yeti grow pretty closely -- that second flush looked insane compared to that first flush.

Did you get the corn kernel first flush too? That's what mine did. Wall to wall canopy of chick pea sized fruit. Contamed before a 2nd flush though.

Yes lol and this was the second, pretty crazy.
 More of this shit coming.
Could have let them go a bit longer but I feel they're nice to harvest right now. These smell so good. Took a clone from this tub too.

Wow! Did you use a bag for the APE? Would you recommend getting into bags over tubs?

It wasn't a bag, it was a clear bucket. It wasn't APE, it was Yeti.
Bags vs tubs is more about preference and personal circumstances, it wouldn't be correct to say one is better than the other.

Haha wrong on both counts. It seems like I rarely see a sparsely populated bag grow compared to tubs but maybe this isn't the case.

I think part of that is most new people don't start with bags. After you've grown a bit too most people only post there good results and not so much there mediocre or bad results. Like josex said both can work really well just gotta know what to do.

The thing with bags or buckets or even bottles is that they usually have less fruiting area and more sub depth (therefore more amount of substrate with respect to fruiting area than a sizeable tub), which a lot of the times results in fewer but bigger fruits that can often grow tightly packed.
The sub depth won't represent a problem for the colony to move water and use resources in these cases so long as the substrate's depth and size are kept within reasonable proportions. Same depth in a sizeable tub will probably cause more harm than good as it's likely the sub could go anaerobic, that's why it isn't adviced to go beyond 3" deep in tub or you are likely to get diminishing returns.
All that said I could swear some varieties and genetics prefer bags, buckets or bottles over tubs and viceversa.

So a tub would become anaerobic because the substrate is encased by non porous plastic rather than a bag or...? Do you think a bag provides a better microclimate like some say? I realize one could achieve a probably equally beneficial condition in a tub but maybe its a little easier with a bag or do you think it really just comes down to the substrate depth as you've said?
Which varieties would you say work better in a bag? The melmak in bags in this thread look amazing, would you consider it to be one such variety?
Thanks for the info, much appreciated.

No man sorry, I didn't say none of what you are saying, wasn't even talking about conditions lol read again please. Was mainly answering the question you asked before as to why some bag grows seem more packed and impressive than a tub using the same genetics.
