NEW ID Request**
    #26658534 - 05/08/20 09:11 PM (3 years, 9 months ago)

Hello!

These have been recently picked at spot that is known to produce the certain magic mushroom we were looking for. I just want to make sure they are them.

Description:
The stems have a bluesh hue throughout them and many of the caps as well. Here are a few pictures. Can anyone help identify? Formula: 0

Those look rough Haha.
If you're in Australia/new Zealand than I'd say those are psilocybe subaeruginosa

I'd disagree that these are P. Subaeruginosa, especially considering your location.

With my limited knowledge, I'd say that they're P. Cubensis, however there does seem to be some lacking features, such as the stem skirt thats present on P. Cubensis which makes me doubtful.

What type of habitat did you find them in? Were they growing out of cow poop?

Wait for a Trusted Identifier to respond to this one

Not subs, not cubes. I'm guessing allenii. South-east Pacific in the US? What state is that?

They don't look like any of these. Interesting find! Hopefully a TI will show up, they do resemble subs with a beefy stipe in my amateur opinion. Possibly cubes of some sort? The bluing does seem to be there for some psilocybe sp.

They Look To Be A Psilocybe Sp, But They Are Not Psilocybe Cubensis, Wait For A TI To Chime In.

What Were They Growing From?

If they are a psilocybe, I'd have to guess that they are just weird funky ovoids, considering OP's location. Wait for TI tho.

I'd Go With Ovoids Too, Wild Cubes Will Never Look Like That & The Stems Are Too Thick To Be P. Semileanceata Or P. Caerulipes.

They were growing about 20 yards from a river going through a park. They were growing out of soil surrounding a tree.

When you say you are in southeastern PA, do you mean the pacific or Pennsylvania?
