BRF fruiting method 1

I have done quite the bit of reading this morning on BRF fruiting methods and I was wondering about how individuals here fruit their cakes, what kinds of chamber/design, and initial method of removing from jars. The reason I ask is that I have recently knocked up some BRF jars that are getting close to consolidating fully and would like to compare methods. I've read through https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/18381574/fpart/all/vc/1 https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/23310889/fpart/all/vc/1 https://www.shroomery.org/13878/The-PF-tek https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/11585613 I'm wondering if the 24/hr dunk is needed?

I use a modified SGFC (only 5 sides drilled, I didnt drill the lid) with half the tote filled with wet perlite. I mist like 2-3 times a day, depending on ambient conditions. Cake watering plates are clean petri dishes.
Current grow (some invitro'd fruits from procrastination):
My last grow:
I find it works really well for my needs

I was thinking about reusing one of my monotubs, however I have read that one can use purely water in the bottom of your fruiting chamber without perlite given ambient room temps allow for the water to remain within fruiting temp. Petri dish lids for cake plates is a solid idea - I'm gonna use that if possible. Can vermiculite be employed in place of perlite? I have a surplus of both just curious.

I havent tried using vermiculite for humidifying. It might work, I dont know honestly.
Ive seen some hydroponic grows lately. That is crazy! Cant believe that.
Yeah, I love the petri dishes. They are one of my favorite things in the entire hobby. Very useful item.

Tub in a tub. Bottom tub w 5" of water, an aquarium heater set to 78* and 4 wide mouth half pint jars to support the top tub. Top tub has 3" of wet perlite, cakes on squares of tinfoil and a tall pint jar 3/4 full of water. An aquarium air pump feeds fresh air to the inner tub via a bubbler in the tall pint jar, which helps kick humidity to mid 90%. Most of the top tub lid is cut out and a piece of clear plexi is attached via silicone. A 6500k light on a 12:12 schedule hangs above.
It's a shitload of trouble to not achieve much compared to shoes or better yet monos but it works great for cakes.

Ya I've just decided to use verm as the medium to hold water and mist as needed from there in; using the lids of the jars as seating the ambient temp of my room should humidify it perfectly. I am going to use one of my smaller monotubs with tightly packed polyfil.

Ya, I didn't invent the setup, tho. I used info gleaned from Lycelium. Somebody else figured it out and many thanks to 'em.

So this is a rye cake you could say - I grew it in a 2ltr bottle but had to quickly abandon the bottle. I left the bottom on it and just set it in an unused monotub surrounded by water. So far its grown nicely.
