1st grow, cobweb or mycelium?

These are pink oysters. I spawned to 1:2 coir with a casing layer. The growth did not start on the top layer which I read is what happens with cobweb mold and that most new growers mistake mycelium growing to the surface as cobweb mold. I noticed it the day after spawning and now it's been 4 and these are the pictures. So, is this contamination or is it okay? Thank you!
Edit: I also started 12/12 cycle and dub tub immediately

it looks good to me but its a bit tough to tell from the pictures - the top left in the second picture is definitely mycelium. from my (admittedly limited) experience, the mycelium hyphae run more directionally than cobweb, which makes a decentralized network of strands.

Okay thank you. I have some grain jars getting ready. This was my first grow and was in a hurry to start so did the pf tek but now that I have a pressure cooker excited to use grain. Here are some updates on the shoebox. I'll let it grow out regardless and see what happens, fun to watch and good learning experience.

Pink oyster mycelium does look like cobweb, I think you're good

It looks a little dry imo but good! A good misting may help!

Hey bud, sorry to tell ya but that tub needs to be tossed asap. Trich takes a bit to develop its color so by the time you see it is over cutting it out wont help. Your tub looks a little too humid and would recommend cracking the lid more, lighten up on the polyfil or fanning more next time. Mold grows quickly so those two patches will soon become more. It happens man dont beat yourself up over it, the rest of your gear looks good. Have any details on the spawn?

Ok, so a couple of things here to help you on your next grow.
1. Oysters can not be grown like cubes. Oysters need much more FAE then they can get in a mono tub. You will not grow anything but stipe in a mono tub.
2. Oysters do not benefit from a casing layer so that was a wasted step.
It has been a long time but my penis envy never looked like that and a good clue that something is wrong is where you cut out the Trichoderma. The sub should be white all the way through. It looks like you only have white on the top layer. It may be the camera but it should be whiter than that also. It looks more gray to me.
I would say start over and by start over I mean start over. Not give up. If you give up you will never grow anything. We have all been there. Take this as a learning experience. A success has failed many more times than a failure ever will. A success keeps trying until he succeeds. If you want help PM me I will do my best to help you get things going right.
