Wet, to dry, back to damp. Dry again?

Wed morning I pulled an amazing flush. They were pretty, fat, and straight for the most part. A bunch of them too. I spent maybe 20 minutes picking them and setting them up in my dehydrator.
12 hours later I get home from work and run upstairs to check the dryness. They are all cracker dry!
I toss them in a bag and go about my business.
Thurs night I decide to weigh out everything thus far. 155gs so far. But.. while weighing I had noticed a few that seemed a bit soft. Not too too bad, but still soft.
I go back through ALL of them and pull the soft ones. Maybe 15 or so. I throw them back in and let it run for a few more hours.
Still soft.
I meant to run the dehydrator longer but something came up and I forgot.
It's now Fri morning and there's a few that's still soft.
Should I cut my losses on those still damp ones? It's only like 5 or 6 bigger ones.

Just keep drying till they are dry as a bone. Big shrooms can take awhile. Keep drying.

They won't go bad if not dried out right away?

No it’s fine.
Sounds like they might’ve absorbed moisture from the air, it helps a lot to store them with little desiccant packs.
I’ve got like 10% humidity so I can get away with storing them in bags but mason jars are the best.

its best practice to dry them in the dehydrator for 24 hours. Mushboy did a experiment where he tried different times and found drying for 24 hours then checking back on them a week later, they did not bend nor were they soft and remained cracker dry.
